We all have some form of fears and insecurities. It’s a part of life. It’s not a bad thing. However, we have to be careful to not allow our insecurities and fears to fester into our lives to the point that it cripples us.

We have to not let insecurities and fears come into our lives in a way that it overwhelms us and we find ourselves trapped in a cycle of lack. You might be wondering how do you tackle your insecurities and fears? Well, here is how you do so.

Question Thoughts That Attack You

You have to question thoughts that attack your worthiness. Is it true that you are not capable? Is it true that you are not worthy of achieving the things you want in your life? Who says that you are not good enough?

Sometimes, our mind creates events and situations that are not true. We have to be willing to always question the accuracy of things. Don’t be so quick to buy in and believe in thoughts that are slowly destroying you. Who says?

Dive Into Your Fears

When we consider our fears, the first thing we attempt to do is run away. Our fears cause our hearts to race. Our fears cause us to close up. Our fears can cause us to live lives that do not truly match up to our destiny. What are you afraid of?

It’s time that you face the fear. Run into the dreams and opportunities that seem too big for you. Surround yourself with people who are doing the things you’ve lacked the courage to do. Stop running away from your fears. Walk into it with your full chest.

Have Evidence of Your Worthiness

Your feelings of inadequacy can come from many different places in your life. It could be as a result of what someone has said to you. It could be as a result of the circumstances and situations that you find in your life. It might not match up to the reality you’ve set for yourself.

When this comes up, you need to have evidence of your worthiness. Go back to moments when you did something that made you proud. Save notes where you were offered an encouraging word. Have a box of things that remind you of who you are.

Surround Yourself with a Company that Feeds You

The company that you surround yourself with are either fueling you or draining you. The company that you surround yourself with are either encouraging you to be better or they are stealing your joy. The company you surround yourself with are either adding light and value into your life or they are fostering your complacency. Surround yourself with the company that feeds you.

Seek Sources of Encouragement

There is so much that we can learn from another person’s story. There is so much knowledge that we can gain from another person’s experiences, mistakes and failures.

When you are feeling insecure and fearful, it’s time to seek encouragement. Get encouraged through books, videos, sermons, classes, speakers. Go out and seek encouragement. You might encounter a story that resonates with you and brings you out of that state of fearfulness and inadequacy
